palletizing robot

Palletizing Robot Sourcing is an independent sourcing partner for dedicated palletizing robot procurement. Plant buyers send SKU mix, payload including gripper mass, reach, pallet pattern, quantity and destination so factories can return comparable wholesale quotes. This service does not manufacture robots, does not hold factory stock, and does not publish a market discount percentage.

Duty and operating envelope

A palletizing robot RFQ is useful only when case mass, simultaneous picks, pallet height and cycle time share the same operating envelope. Brochure peak payload is not a duty point.

Material entering the machine
Name case or bag size, mass, surface, whether the gripper lifts one or several units, and whether a slip sheet or interlayer is handled with the product. Payload must include the gripper and every simultaneously lifted case.
Required output
State cases per minute against the actual SKU mix, infeed presentation and finished pallet pattern, not a joint-speed table. Throughput without those conditions cannot be ranked across palletizing robot suppliers.
Duty cycle
Describe shifts per day, SKU changeover frequency, and whether the cell runs unattended after a missing-case recovery. Duty cycle changes gripper wear, vacuum capacity and spare-parts lists.

Which procurement scope is covered by palletizing robot?

Base machine

  • Robot-based palletizing including payload, reach and gripper interfaces. Conventional layer palletizers stay outside this landing unless a factory quotes them as a separately named alternative.
  • Standard tooling means the quoted end effector, tool changer if listed, and the controller software licenses that the proposal actually includes.

How should a buyer start a palletizing robot inquiry?

Does payload include the gripper and every simultaneously lifted case?

Defined specification

If gripper mass, centre of gravity, heaviest pick and pallet corners are already written, send that package so factories can check the load through the motion path. A defined specification route still needs destination and quantity.

Selection still open

If you have not decided who designs the end effector, whether a collaborative palletizing robot is even allowed beside operators, or which pallet pattern must be reached without singularity, review sourcing steps first.

Which responsibilities remain with the equipment supplier and buyer?

Factories confirm feasibility, included hardware, Incoterms and commissioning hours. Buyers own SKU data, quantity, destination, site utilities and the contract that signs SAT. Palletizing Robot Sourcing coordinates comparable questions; it does not accept cases per minute as a site-wide result. Read the gripper load note and the cell-scope note before ranking replies. Open the inquiry catalog when you are ready to name an option.
